Can I replace air suspension with heavy duty shocks?
My 2000 Expedition has the rear air bag suspension. One bag has a leak and is causing a major "droop" in the back suspension (looks like a low rider). The "droop" comes and goes, but is becoming more of a problem. Rather than the expense of replacing the air bags, will heavy duty or gas type shocks help the problem?
There are specific replacement spring/shock packages available to replace the various air suspension systems. Shocks alone, even those w/helper springs, will not do.
